This pitcher design has seen a come back in many contemporary collections today and this piece is a beautiful example dating back to the 1940s. It was quite crudely yet beautifully handcrafted in Taxco, Mexico most likely by a local silversmith. We have finished off the piece with a new sterling silver chain so it is ready to wear.
Details: Length of the pitcher is 2.8 cm and its width is 1.8 cm (not including the handle). The sterling silver chain measures 60 cm long.
Total weight of the piece is 3 grams.
Origins: This pendant was originally set as an earring and originated from Taxco, Mexico. It is stamped "Silver Mexico" on the screw back fastenings that we will include with the necklace. Taxco is a town in the state of Guerrero, southwest of Mexico City, famed for its silver jewelry production.
